Key responsibilities include managing preoperative and postoperative patient care, utilizing strong clinical judgment, and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams during scheduled shifts from 10:45 am to 7:15 pm Monday through Friday, with call availability after August 30, 2025.
Required skills and qualifications include a minimum of five years of OR experience with strong proficiency in at least two of the following specialties: Neurology, Orthopedics, or Vascular. Candidates must hold a valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and be willing to obtain PALS before start if not already certified. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to evidence-based nursing practices.
Preferred candidates will possess prior travel experience and the flexibility to start within four weeks of offer acceptance. A diploma in nursing from an accredited school is required, with a bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred. Experience in direct patient care and critical thinking skills are highly valued.
