VHS is looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist for Springfield, MA! Program Details
24 Hour Shifts
Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes – Emergency GYN cases
Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes – OB/GYN ED Call
Hospitalists to back up Midwives: Yes
Hospitalists to back up Family Medicine: No
Program Goals:
1.Drive Quality & Safety for OB Service line.
2. Have a consistent high functioning OB Hospitalist Team.
3. Help support community practices allowing them to support patient needs.
Hospital Details
Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 69
Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 828
NICU Level: III
Anesthesia: On-Call 24/7
Fetal Monitoring System:
EMR used in Hospital: Epic
Midwives: Inhouse nights and weekends
