VHS is looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist for Rapid City, SD!
**INTERNAL USE: Monument Health Rapid City Hospital**
Program Details
Program Start Date: November 2023
12- or 24-Hour Shifts: 24
Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes – Emergency only
Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: Yes
Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes

NICU Level: III
Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 167
Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 40-50
Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 318
MFM: 1 day per week on-site & available for consults
