VHS is looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist for Harrisonburg, VA!
Program Details
Program Start Date: 12/6/2023
2.0 program with MD and CNM 24/7
24 Hour Shifts: 28
Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes, emergent only
Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: Onan as needed basis- pediatricians perform them
Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes, as needed or when available
First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes

NICU Level: II – 32 weeks gestation and above. Baby-Friendly Hospital
Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 158
Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 125
