Join Our Team as a NICU Registered Nurse – Make a Difference in Neonatal Care!
Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to our tiniest patients? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you'll be instrumental in delivering life-saving interventions, supporting families, and ensuring the highest standards of neonatal care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your expertise will directly impact the health and well-being of fragile newborns, making a meaningful difference every day.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience with Level III Neonatal Intensive Care units
Proven ability to attend deliveries (vaginal and C-section) and assist with newborn transition
Proficient in placement of IVs, drawing labs, management of ventilators and central lines
Experience with administering a variety of medications (IV, IM, SQ, ETT, etc.) and blood products
Skilled in assisting with procedures such as chest tube insertion, PICC, UAC/UVC placement, intubation, and imaging studies
Excellent compassion, empathy, and customer service skills
Ability to manage complex patient needs independently and within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Familiarity with ultrasound, echocardiograms, EEGs, and nitric oxide therapy
Ability to float to Neonatal Observation Unit (NOU) and general newborn nursery when needed
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active RN license with current BLS & NRP certifications
Experience in a Level III NICU setting with a strong background in neonatal procedures and protocols
Prior experience with delivery attendance, managing ventilators, and neonatal emergencies
Other Requirements:
Available for night shift (3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) starting April 20, 2026
Willingness to work every other weekend, at least 1 major and 1 minor holiday
Self-scheduling capabilities and flexibility to float to NOU with patient ratios of 1:4-6 as needed
Valid licensure, certification, and willingness to travel for assignments when applicable
Must demonstrate high levels of compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills
