Required Skills:
Valid Georgia RN license or multi-state license valid in Georgia
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification required prior to start date
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to utilize technology to support clinical documentation and patient care
Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, emergency situations
Strong time management and organizational skills
Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing
Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration
Knowledge of patient safety standards and quality improvement initiatives
Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Must complete all required orientation hours; orientation hours are non-billable
Compliance with all Wellstar policies and standards, including safety and ethical guidelines
Willingness to work night shifts (7 pm - 7 am)
Ability to adapt to block scheduling restrictions—note that Wellstar does not accept more than 3 days of RTO
Contract start date: December 23, 2024, for an 8-week assignment
