Description: Summary: Penrose Main Hospital is looking for Holiday coverage from a Neurosurgery locum. Ongoing dates will begin Jan 2026 as schedules are released.
BID DUE DATE: First to Fill!
Rate Caps for Submission:
Malpractice – Must be included in rates.
Orientation – 287.50 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours”
Holiday – Must be 1.5x the regular rate. “Per holiday hour no OT”
On Call Daily – 5700 and below - “Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - 8550 - “Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis
Call Back – 575 and below - “Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.”
Holiday Call Back – 862.50 - “Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.”

24 hour call 7a-7a7 shifts per month needed from all locums. Site will schedule providers a max of 7 consecutive days per stint. Facility Location: 2222 N Nevada Ave Colorado Springs CO 80907Setting: Call Inpatient Emergency Room Trauma Level IFTE: 1.0Required Procedures/Job Duties: Surgical traumas Cranial and SpineEMR: EPICSupport Staff: RN MAReason for Coverage: A locum accepted another position and no longer available for April stint. Dealbreakers Do Not Present: Lack of availability for requested dates.
EMR Required Training:
Module learn lessons – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Provider will be required to complete Modules EUPA test and PPL at least one week prior to their start date. All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidates submission at time of presentation. What are the # of years of epic experience they have?When was the last time MM/YYYY that they used Epic?What is the name of the last facility the provider used EPIC?Can you provide me with a photo large enough to add to a badge and not become pixelated? - Please attach photo in documents sectionCan you disclose the provider's time zone for scheduling the virtual epic training?We need the provider's best phone # to use for call shifts while working.
