Description: Summary: San Juan ENT clinic is looking for a full time locums for 3 months. Details below!
Rate Caps for Submission:
Malpractice
– Must be included in rates.
Orientation
– 190 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of
orientation or training beyond 8 hours”
Hourly – 380 and below - “Per hour not OT”
Holiday – 570 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. “Per holiday hour no OT”
Schedule/Availability Requirements:Start: As soon as credentialed for 3 months. Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Frequency: Monday - Friday Assignment: The assignment is to work 5 days a week. This is a general/comprehensive otolaryngology position within a large multispecialty group. There are two full time ENT's currently in the group at other sites. The primary duty is to see patients in the ENT clinic with the option to perform bread-and-butter ENT surgeries for those patients or to refer to the ENTs for surgery if desired. NO CALL obligation but if interested there are opportunities for paid hospital call including trauma call.

Required Procedures: REQUIRED: Flexible laryngoscopy sinus endoscopy cerumen removal otomicroscopy diagnostic biopsies throughout head and neck. Optional: Comprehensive otolaryngology surgical capabilities.
EMR: Cerner Powerchart
Patients per Day: 25-30
Support Staff: 1 full time MA and 1 surgery scheduler
Reason for Coverage: Physician left group ongoing recruiting for perm position. Option for locums to come on permanent if they are a good fit.
