Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Osage Beach, MO
Join Our Team as an OB Hospitalist and Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated OB Hospitalist to provide exceptional care at our healthcare facility in Osage Beach, MO. This vital role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, deliveries, triage, and inpatient care. As a key member of our team, you will ensure seamless coverage and deliver high-quality care to women during their hospital stays, contributing to positive patient outcomes and community health.
Required Skills:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with active Medical License or eligibility in Missouri
Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric specialization
Proven experience in OB hospitalist duties, including deliveries, triage, and emergency management
Ability to manage 13+ patient encounters daily efficiently
Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Meditech Expanse
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience covering hospital-employed CNMs and APCs
Skills in managing OB triage and obstetric emergencies independently
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving clinical scenarios
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of hospital-based OB/GYN or OB hospitalist experience
Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR platform
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on 12/31/2025
Willingness to work a call schedule, including on-call duties and clinics
Compliance with all licensure, certification, and travel requirements, including reimbursements when applicable
