We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to serve as a locum provider, filling critical coverage gaps and delivering high-quality obstetric care. Required Skills
Current and valid medical license in the state of California
Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Family Medicine with obstetric training
Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care and labor & delivery management
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with high-risk obstetric cases
Familiarity with hospital-based obstetric protocols
Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish
Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Preferred Education and Experience
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of recent obstetric hospitalist experience or relevant inpatient obstetrics practice
Active California medical license and DEA certification
Other Requirements
Willingness to complete required credentialing and compliance documentation
Availability for flexible scheduling and weekend coverage as needed
No travel restrictions; reimbursements for licensure, certifications, and travel expenses when applicable
