Required Skills:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Valid Texas medical license and current board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Proven experience in OB hospitalist services or inpatient obstetrics
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience working in a hospitalist setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
Advanced life support certifications (ACLS, NRP)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of inpatient obstetrics experience
Prior locum or temporary physician roles preferred but not required
Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one quickly
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on December 31, 2025
Must hold or be willing to obtain necessary certifications
Willingness to travel as needed within the Austin area or state
