Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX
Join our esteemed healthcare team as a Locum Physician specializing in Obstetric Hospitalist services. We are seeking dedicated OB Hospitalists committed to providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care in a fast-paced, hospital setting. Required Skills:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Valid state medical license or eligible for licensure in Texas
Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with obstetric emergencies and high-risk pregnancies
Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMRs)
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Prior locum or temporary physician experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD/DO)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, preferably in hospitalist settings
Active Texas medical license or full eligibility
Other Requirements:
Availability to start by 12/31/2025
Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends
Travel reimbursements and licensure support provided when applicable
Commitment to maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations
