Join Our Team as a Locum OB/GYN Physician in Grand Island, NE – Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare
Are you a dedicated OB/GYN physician seeking a rewarding locum opportunity to provide essential women's healthcare services? We are actively recruiting a skilled and motivated Physician to cover a dynamic practice in Grand Island, Nebraska. This pivotal role offers the chance to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including labor and delivery, in a supportive clinical environment. Your expertise will help ensure continued quality care for women in the community, all while offering flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
Required Skills:
Board-certified or Board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Valid medical license to practice in Nebraska
Proven experience in both obstetric and gynecologic procedures
Proficiency in managing labor and delivery, gynecologic surgeries, and routine clinic visits
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in hospital obstetric and surgical settings
Ability to perform all standard gynecologic procedures in both clinic and hospital environments
Prior locum or temporary coverage experience in similar settings
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of post-residency obstetrics and gynecology practice
Current Nebraska medical license and credentialing in relevant facilities, including CHI Health St. Francis Hospital
Other Requirements:
Availability for scheduled shifts from October 3 to October 12, November 21 to November 30, December 19 to December 28, 2025, with shifts 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Must be able to obtain and maintain hospital privileges, including credentialing with EPIC EMR system
Willingness to provide on-call coverage, labor and delivery support, and gynecologic surgeries
Ability to travel locally for lodging, with preferred accommodations booked at Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn
Malpractice insurance included in rate, with adherence to all hospital and facility policies
