Required Skills:
Medical license valid in Alaska
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related general medicine specialties
Experience with Compensation & Pension evaluations or a strong background in general medicine
Excellent interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Ability to complete documentation accurately and efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience working with Veterans or in a government contract setting
Familiarity with electronic health records and reporting systems
Certification in applicable medical specialties or additional relevant training
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical Degree (MD or DO)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice post-residency
Experience in conducting non-treatment exams and assessments
Other Requirements:
Candidates must own a suitable office location within the specified radius (within 50 miles for Juneau or Sitka; within 75 miles for Delta Junction)
Availability for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) sessions on a PRN basis
Willingness to undergo quick credentialing and onboarding processes
Ability to comply with all licensing, certification, and travel reimbursement policies
