Job Description
VHS is looking for 2 qualified Social Workers for a contract in Salina Kansas!
MINIMUM EDUCATION & LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work.
• Licensed in the state of Kansas.
• First Aid/CPR.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
• Prefer experience working with children and family services.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass a physical examination, including drug screen and TB Skin Test.
• Must pass an MVR, KBI and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Key communication link between the placing agency/service and the treatment team.
Case manages each client’s individual plan of care through coordination of services in and out of the Program.
Primary liaison between the family, placing agency, staff, court, education personnel and any other treatment providers.
Facilitates from the beginning the essential planning meeting required to focus on discharge.
CLIENT AGE/POPULATION SERVED:
Demonstrates competence and continues training in age-specific competencies for infant through adult clients.
