What You Will Bring to the Role
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional GI Technician or in a closely related role within a specialized healthcare setting.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
Proven proficiency in assisting with GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures such as ERCP, SpyGlass, EUS, EBUS, and navigation bronchoscopy.
Strong understanding of sterile technique, patient safety, and procedure protocols.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to work effectively in a high-responsibility environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Certification or specialized training in GI procedures.
Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Knowledge of advanced imaging modalities or navigation systems.
Ability to adapt to a 24-hour operational schedule and emergency situations.
Preferred Education and Experience
Formal training or certification in cardiovascular or radiologic technology.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in an interventional gastroenterology or pulmonary lab.
Prior experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced healthcare environment.
Other Requirements
No local candidates within 50 miles; this is a travel-required role.
Availability to work scheduled hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM over a 13-week assignment.
Ability to obtain and maintain applicable licensure and certifications.
Willingness to travel and accept reimbursements as applicable.
