As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and sterile procedural environments that directly impact patient outcomes. Required Skills:
Proven experience in endoscopy scope reprocessing and sterilization
Strong knowledge of disinfection, cleaning, and sterilization protocols
Ability to accurately document procedural activities and maintain sterilization records
Familiarity with decontamination procedures and handling of medical instruments
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification such as CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CSPDT (Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution)
Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient endoscopy setting
Knowledge of electronic sterilization monitoring systems
Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant endoscopy or sterile processing experience
Other Requirements:
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Ability to work weekday days, 40 hours per week, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Call responsibilities approximately once or twice a month, with potential for additional calls based on department needs
Willingness to follow all safety, health, and sanitation protocols
Ability to adapt to schedule and departmental requirements
