Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of specialized echocardiography experience
Certification as a diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and related techniques
Intermediate computer skills
Knowledge of ultrasound methods, operating principles, and procedures
Ability to perform echocardiography with proficiency and accuracy
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with congenital echocardiography
Vascular Technologist certification with 2 years of vascular-related experience
Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system
Advanced proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
5+ years of hospital-based echocardiography experience
Registered or registry-eligible in vascular sonography
Other Requirements:
Availability to work scheduled shifts as outlined: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Ability to obtain and maintain licensure or certification as mandated by the State of Georgia
Travel and additional reimbursements applicable when required
