Job Title: Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative Location: Valdosta, GA Position Type: Full-Time, Field-Based
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals to promote advanced respiratory therapies and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience with hospital-based respiratory care, possess a proven track record in healthcare sales, and be committed to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to increase patient referrals and program adoption.
Promote VieMed’s comprehensive home ventilation solutions and disease management programs through engaging presentations, educational initiatives, and collaborative clinical discussions.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the Valdosta region to achieve and surpass sales and growth targets.
Collaborate effectively with internal clinical teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operations staff, to facilitate a smooth transition of patients from hospital to home-based care.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, referral patterns, and account interactions using our CRM system to monitor progress and identify opportunities.
Demonstrate professionalism, persistence, and a proactive approach in a competitive healthcare environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Established professional relationships with healthcare providers such as Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, or Case Managers within the respiratory or critical care fields.
Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) required.
Proven ability to navigate hospital systems, influence clinical decision-making, and drive referral growth.
Minimum of two years’ success in healthcare sales, ideally within respiratory therapy, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH), or critical care sectors.
Formal sales training and/or clinical experience preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
