Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to expand our presence in the St. Louis healthcare market. This field-based role involves over 80% local travel and requires a strong network within hospital and clinical settings. The ideal candidate will leverage existing relationships, demonstrate clinical expertise, and excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment to promote VieMed’s respiratory solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to increase patient referrals.
  • Promote VieMed’s comprehensive home ventilation and disease management programs through clinical presentations, educational sessions, and collaborative efforts with healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at achieving and surpassing territory growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and Operations, to ensure seamless patient transitions from hospital to home settings.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of account activity, referral trends, and sales metrics to support territory management and reporting.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, resilience, and proactive engagement in a dynamic healthcare sales environment.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, and Respiratory Care departments (required).
  • Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV), or related respiratory therapies (required).
  • Proven ability to navigate hospital systems, influence clinical decision-makers, and grow referral networks.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales experience, ideally within respiratory therapy, DME, LTACH, or critical care markets.
  • Formal sales training or relevant clinical experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
