Position Overview
Are you an accomplished sales professional with established relationships in hospital and respiratory care settings? Do you have a passion for advancing patient outcomes through innovative respiratory solutions? VieMed is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with healthcare providers within the Detroit area, primarily through local travel (80%+), to promote our advanced respiratory products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to generate new patient referrals and expand territory presence.
Promote VieMed’s comprehensive home ventilation and disease management programs via presentations, educational sessions, and clinical collaborations tailored to healthcare providers.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals, focusing on territory growth and account penetration.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operations staff, to ensure seamless patient transitions from hospital to home care settings.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of account activities, referral sources, and sales pipeline to facilitate ongoing relationship management and performance tracking.
Stay current on industry trends, clinical updates, and competitor activities to effectively position VieMed’s solutions.
Demonstrate professionalism, persistence, and motivation in a fast-paced healthcare environment, adapting strategies as needed to meet changing market needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven relationships within hospital-based respiratory departments, including Pulmonology, Critical Care, or Hospital Medicine.
Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) technologies.
Minimum of 2 years of successful healthcare sales experience, preferably in respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), long-term acute care (LTACH), or critical care markets.
Demonstrated ability to navigate hospital systems, influence decision-makers, and foster referral growth.
Formal sales training and/or clinical experience in respiratory care is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
