Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join our expanding sales team in Chicago, IL. This field-based role primarily involves building and strengthening relationships with healthcare providers to promote our home ventilation and disease management programs. The ideal candidate will have established networks within hospital systems and a background in respiratory therapy or related clinical areas, especially with Mechanical Ventilation and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to drive patient referrals and program adoption.
  • Present and educate healthcare providers about VieMed’s advanced respiratory solutions, including home ventilation and disease management services, through professional presentations, clinical collaborations, and educational sessions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass territory growth targets, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal clinical teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operational staff, to ensure smooth patient transitions from hospital to home care settings.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of account activities, referral sources, sales pipeline, and progress through CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product features, and competitive landscape to effectively position VieMed’s offerings.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, resilience, and proactive engagement to succeed in a fast-paced healthcare sales environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven relationships with key hospital and outpatient healthcare providers such as Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or Respiratory Care Departments.
  • Hands-on clinical experience with Mechanical Ventilation and NIV therapies.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ successful healthcare sales experience, preferably within respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), long-term acute care (LTACH), or critical care settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate hospital systems, influence decision-makers, and grow referral networks.
  • Formal clinical training or prior clinical experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (80%+ local travel).
