Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This field-based role (primarily local travel of 80% or more) focuses on strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals and expanding referral network within the hospital and clinical community. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in respiratory therapy sales, established connections within hospital systems, and hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, including Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV).
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to increase patient referrals for advanced respiratory solutions.
Promote VieMed’s comprehensive home ventilation and disease management programs through professional presentations, educational sessions, and clinical collaborations.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the assigned territory to achieve and surpass growth objectives.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operational staff, ensuring a smooth transition of patients from hospital to home care.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of account activity, referral patterns, and sales performance metrics.
Stay current with industry trends, clinical guidelines, and competitor activities to enhance sales effectiveness and positioning.
Represent VieMed professionally at healthcare conferences, client meetings, and community events.
Qualifications & Experience:
Established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or within Respiratory Care departments are required.
Practical experience with Mechanical Ventilation and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) is essential.
A minimum of 2 years’ successful sales experience in healthcare, preferably in respiratory therapy, DME, critical care, or related fields.
Demonstrated ability to navigate hospital systems, influence clinical and administrative decision-makers, and drive referral growth.
Formal sales training or clinical background highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
