VHS is looking for a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - Obstetrics.

Description: Specialty: CRNA
Start Date: ASAP – 3 month with option to extend
Shift Details: Days 40 hours 5x8s – guaranteed
Working 5x8's per week
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7a-5p 7a-3p minimum 2-3 weeks month
Call Details: *Call is Optional* weekday call 3p-7a 1 weekday call per week 1 weekend per month 24 weekend call
Work Details:
· Supervised by a Surgeon or ANES doc: ANES 1 on duty
· Patients per day: 12-15
· Patient population/age: all ages
· Department description: 5 CRNAs covering OR GI Lab OB C-section emergencies and Epidurals
· EMR: Meditech CRNAs document on paper intraoperatively
· Hospital bed size: 114 beds Level II Trauma
· Types of Case: TEE cardioversions rare no Cath lab unless an emergency ER if emergency
· Skills required: manage all of surgery endo OB and epidurals.

· Travel caps: flights lodging update: facility will book hotel directly no stiped is available mileage
Requirements:
· Board Certification: CRNA
· License required: yes or compact if can start July
· DEA: No
· CSR: yes
· Certifications required: BLS ACLS PALS
· Minimum experience required: 1 year min.
Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 weeks could be longer depending on board meeting timing
Emergency Privileges? Yes 3-4 weeks.
