Key Responsibilities include:
Assisting during Cardiac Catheterization procedures and specialized cardiac interventions
Preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies in the Cath Lab
Monitoring patient vitals and ensuring safety throughout procedures
Collaborating closely with cardiologists and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related specialty
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent
Proficiency in Cath Lab procedures and sterile techniques
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Advanced certifications such as ACLS
Experience with specific imaging equipment or interventional procedures
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
Prior experience working in a hospital setting with invasive cardiology procedures
Other Requirements:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Valid licensure and certifications required, with reimbursement for related travel and expenses when applicable
