VHS is looking for a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - Obstetrics.

Description: Specialty: CRNA 50 mile radius rule no local candidates
Start Date: Sept
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details: 40 hour work week
Schedule: Flexible – Weekdays 4x10hr shifts or 5x8's. may consider 3x10s
Work Details:
• Support staff: Anesthesia techs
• Patients per day: Approximately 150 anesthetics per day between Main OR ASCs IR Cath Lab EP OB MRI etc.
• Patient population/age: 18 – Geriatric. Very limited pediatric cases but travelers is not included in pediatric cases
• Department description: Large department of 70 CRNAs with 15 anesthesiologists working under Medical Direction Care Team model providing anesthesia for generally GYN ortho urology and vascular cases
• EMR: Epic Highly Preferred
• Special Equipment: Have Glidescopes Alaris IV pumps. Utilize Draeger anesthesia machines.
• Skills required: No regional or block skills needed
Practice Setting:
• Hospital – Medical Center
Requirements:
• Board Certification: CRNA
• State license required: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications preferred: ACLS BLS PALS
• Minimum experience required: 3 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
