Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Educator / Renal (Days) Pittsfield, MA

Required Skills:
  • Valid Massachusetts RN license (including Agency License for Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency)
  • Experience in renal care or dialysis nursing preferred
  • Strong patient education and communication skills
  • Ability to visit patients at home on occasion and effectively train them for at-home dialysis
  • Proficiency in documenting patient care accurately and maintaining confidentiality
  • Flexibility to adapt to patient needs and schedule changes

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in home health nursing or patient training programs
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety procedures
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, especially in nephrology or dialysis care
  • Prior experience training patients for home dialysis is a plus

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to visit patients at their homes when necessary
  • Attendance at non-billable orientation sessions
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Successful completion of orientation and adherence to all state and federal regulations
  • A valid Massachusetts Agency License for Temporary Nursing Service is mandatory for consideration
  • Must have reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes
  • Be prepared for paid travel, licensure, certification, and additional reimbursements when applicable
