Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing operating rooms and sterile environments for various cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
Support surgical teams during operations, ensuring all instruments and supplies are readily available.
Maintain strict adherence to safety, sterilization, and infection control protocols.
Provide excellent patient care pre- and post-operation within the surgical suite.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience within the surgical specialty, specifically in plastic, reconstructive, or cosmetic surgery.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
Advanced certifications such as Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Tech.
Experience with laser procedures or advanced reconstructive techniques.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in surgical technology preferred.
At least 2 years of relevant surgical experience, ideally in plastic or reconstructive surgery settings.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work the night shift (06:45 PM – 03:15 AM) on a 13-week schedule starting May 6, 2024.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated and able to pass background checks and credential verification.
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation for this position is $45.56 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
