Float Pool (Critical) - Agency RN at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center

Required Skills:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or multi-state compact license
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and proficiency in the use of healthcare technology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies
Proven time management capabilities and a commitment to evidence-based practice
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in critical care, telemetry, or emergency settings
Prior experience in hospital float pool or similar transient nursing roles
Certified in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) or other specialized certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Less than one year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work night shifts (7:45 PM – 6:45 AM), including every other weekend and major/minor holidays
Ability to complete orientation hours (non-billable) and adhere to well-established scheduling policies
Commitment to upholding healthcare compliance standards and participating in ongoing professional development
