Are you a dedicated PM&R physician seeking an impactful role in inpatient acute care rehabilitation? We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, perform essential procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—all while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Skills:
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
CA Medical License and DEA registration
Valid AHA BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years inpatient PM&R experience
Proficiency in general PM&R procedures such as joint injections and spasticity management (Botox, intrathecal baclofen pumps)
Strong patient management and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with inpatient acute rehab units
Familiarity with consult services in neurology, orthopedics, and internal medicine
Ability to perform additional procedures like EMG/NCS (not required for weekend coverage)
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Prior experience in hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation, especially in general PM&R or subspecialty areas
Other Requirements:
CA license and CA DEA registration
Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Willingness to be on call for admissions during weekend shifts
Travel and reimbursements applicable as needed
