We are seeking dependable and flexible professionals who excel in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients alike. Your technical proficiency in CT procedures, equipment management, and patient positioning will be critical to success.
Required Skills:
ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of radiology experience, including recent CT experience
Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control procedures
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Competent in patient positioning, exposure settings, and equipment operation
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with PACS and RIS systems
Knowledge of advanced imaging modalities
Additional certifications in specialized imaging or patient care
Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Prior experience in a hospital setting, preferably with 1+ years in CT
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as per scheduling needs
Ability to push, retrieve, and operate all CT and ancillary imaging equipment
Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards
Ability to perform all job functions independently with ingenuity and initiative
Availability for start date of 12/16/2024
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $60.30 and requires weekend, day, and night shifts.
