We are looking for an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and make a meaningful difference. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Utilize EPIC electronic health record system efficiently
Float to different units as required; coverage includes every other weekend and holidays
Maintain a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in acute med-surg settings and prior travel experience
Adhere to facility-specific policies, including a maximum of 5 shift cancellations per contract
Required Skills:
Valid New York State RN license
BLS certification
Strong clinical skills in medical-surgical care
Proficiency with EPIC EHR system
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work flexible hours and float across units
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior travel nursing experience
Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures
Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, with a focus on acute med-surg nursing
Other Requirements:
Must possess and maintain current BLS certification
Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Capable of handling the physical and emotional demands of the role
Travel reimbursements, licensure, certification, and travel stipends provided where applicable
