We are currently hiring a skilled Locum Physician to provide expert obstetric care on a 24-hour shift schedule. Required Skills:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Valid and unrestricted State Medical License in Texas
Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active OB Hospitalist experience
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to cover 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in busy hospital environments
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, to serve diverse patient populations
Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Minimum of 2 years of post-residency OB hospitalist experience
Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure promptly
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on or before December 31, 2025
Willingness to work 24-hour shifts with the flexibility to handle emergent situations
Passed background check and credentialing requirements
Ability to travel locally as needed for coverage
Compensation for this role is $195.00 per hour, complemented by benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), a robust referral bonus program, and paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws. Additional reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses may also be provided.
