Required Skills:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Valid state medical license in Maryland
Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and labor management
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to efficiently manage obstetric emergencies and complex cases
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Previous work in hospitalist or locum tenens settings
Ability to handle high-volume patient care scenarios
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years’ hospital-based OB experience
Prior locum or temporary staffing experience in obstetrics is a plus
Other Requirements:
Availability to work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday)
Willingness to travel to assign facilities as needed
Active medical license in Maryland and all relevant certifications
Ability to provide services in accordance with hospital policies and standards
