Required Skills:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with active state medical license in Texas
Prior experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine
Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to perform exam-based assessments independently and efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience conducting Compensation & Pension exams or military/veteran health assessments
Familiarity with VA protocols and documentation
Certifications in specific medical procedures or healthcare compliance
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or primary care settings
Previous experience in a diagnostic or assessment role is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Own office space in Houston, TX with the ability to accommodate scheduling requirements
Willingness to work PRN, flexible hours, including half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts
Certification in applicable certifications and training completion prior to start (training bonuses available for timely completion)
Must be local candidates, as travel is included in the pay rate
