Join Our Team as a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Cadillac, MI

In this position, you will be responsible for independently managing anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedics, general surgery, scopes, dental, and urology, serving patients of all ages. You will participate in an active call rotation, ensuring continuous coverage and support during your scheduled shifts. The role offers the flexibility and challenge of working in a team that values expertise and dedication.
Required Skills:
Valid CRNA certification and licensure
Experience with regional blocks and obstetric anesthesia
Proficiency in managing a wide age range of patients (pediatric to geriatric)
Ability to work independently without supervision
Strong knowledge of BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Experience with Plexus EMR system
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in trauma-level 3 hospitals
Prior familiarity with orthopedic and general anesthesia procedures
Skills in managing complex cases or high-volume surgical environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent CRNA practice experience
Prior exposure to hospital-based anesthesia in a high-volume setting
Relevant certifications in anesthesia techniques
Other Requirements:
Willingness to participate in a call rotation (one weekday evening and one weekend per month)
Availability for a 12-hour shift schedule
Flexibility for start date on or after June 1, 2025
Travel and licensure reimbursement as applicable
This position offers competitive hourly pay at $177.55, with additional compensation for nights, weekends, holidays, and call-back duties.
