What You’ll Bring:
Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience within a hospital or clinical setting
Proficiency in operating various ultrasound equipment and performing advanced echocardiographic techniques
Certification as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Current BLS certification
Intermediate computer skills
Knowledge of methods, techniques, and operating principles related to cardiac ultrasound procedures
Ability to perform skills and procedures with proficiency
Nice to Have:
Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
Registered or registry-eligible as a Vascular Technologist with at least 2 years of vascular-related experience
Congenital echocardiography experience
State of Georgia licensure or certification, if applicable
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
At least 5 years of experience in a hospital setting emphasizing cardiology services
Other Requirements:
Schedule: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm, or 9:00 am – 7:30 pm, with a 13-week rotational assignment
No local candidates within 50 miles
Valid state licensure or certification as required by Georgia
Willingness to travel for certifications or reimbursement purposes
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with excellent communication skills
